The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is an immigration program in Canada that allows individuals with skilled work experience in Canada to apply for permanent residency. CEC has been in effect since January 2013.

It is possible to participate in the program whether you are a Canadian citizen, hold a work visa to Canada, or live anywhere else in the world. The CEC allows qualified workers with at least one year of Canadian work experience to seek for PR status in Canada.

Must have obtained the work experience legally and with proper authorization.
Meet minimum language proficiency requirements in English or French.
Must plan to live outside the province of Quebec.
Must plan to apply for permanent residency from within Canada.
CEC is a fast-track option for individuals with Canadian work experience. Successful applicants can live and work anywhere in Canada. CEC does not require a job offer or an LMIA. Applicants who complete their education in Canada can earn additional points
