BC’s booming economy is attracting many people, making the province a popular choice for anyone looking to apply for a Canadian visa. Semi and highly skilled workers are in high demand, too.
With the help of the BC-PNP, eligible foreign nationals may apply for Canadian citizenship through the province of BC. The goal of this initiative is to increase the province’s economic growth through immigration.
Skills Immigration: This immigration scheme is made for skilled & semi-skilled workers in high-demand occupations in BC. Candidates must have a job offer from a BC employer.
Express Entry BC: This program is for skilled workers who have been accepted into the federal Express Entry system and have a job offer from a BC employer in a high-demand occupation.
Entrepreneur Immigration: This program is for experienced entrepreneurs who want to start or buy a business in BC. Candidates must have a minimum net worth, invest a certain amount in the business, and create jobs for Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
Tech Pilot: This program is for skilled workers in the tech industry who have a job offer from a BC employer in one of 29 eligible occupations. Candidates must meet eligibility requirements and commit to working in BC for at least one year.
International Graduate: This program is for international students who have graduated from a BC post-secondary institution in the last three years and have a job offer from a BC employer in a high-demand occupation.
Entry Level and Semi-Skilled: This program is for entry-level or semi-skilled workers in select industries in BC. Candidates must have a job offer from a BC employer and meet certain eligibility requirements.
