INITIAL CONSULTATION AGREEMENT
This Initial Consultation Agreement is made this {Todays Date}, between the Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (the "RCIC"), Amanpreet Singh, Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) # R518363, and the undersigned prospective client(s) for a maximum time chosen on booking page. Please be advised that Amanpreet Singh is a member in good standing of the College if Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), and as such, is bound by its By-law, Code of Professional Ethics, and Regulations.
1. Purpose of Consultation: The purpose of the Initial Consultation is for us (A) to learn about you and your particular immigration situation based on the information you provide, which may include one or more aspects of the Canadian Immigration process and related procedures; (B) to answer your questions to the best of our ability; (C) to identify your options and, to the extent possible, analyze the costs and benefits of those alternatives; (D) to help you determine your course of action, if any; (E) to determine the next steps in the process, as appropriate.(F) to discuss our fees and terms of representation if a consultant-client relationship is to be established after the meeting.
All information and documentation provided to us shall remain strictly confidential, except as authorized by you or otherwise required by law.
2. No Legal Authority Granted: You agree and understand that this Agreement does not constitute your engagement of Cosmic Immigration Services or the RCIC as your Authorized Representative in connection with any matters before Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), or any other immigration authority.
This consultation is advisory in nature only, and does not grant the RCIC legal authority to communicate with immigration authorities, submit documents, or act on your behalf in any immigration or citizenship matter unless a separate Retainer Agreement is signed and accepted by both parties
3. Fee and Cancellation: In exchange for scheduling an Initial Consultation with Cosmic Immigration Services, you agree to pay a non-refundable Consultation Fee either from above booking page or as decided by Cosmic Immigration Services. Our fee, is payable prior to the commencement of the consultation via e-transfer info@cosmicimmigration.com from a Canadian bank, PayPal, or wire transfer, instructions will be provided individually. The payment and accurately completed questionnaire, located at https://cosmicimmigration.com/assessment-form/ is to be received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled consultation time. If you further retain our services a new retainer agreement will be signed.
To cancel or reschedule your consultation, please contact us via email at info@cosmicimmigration.com at least 24 hours (EST) prior to your scheduled appointment. The fee for a missed appointment is non-refundable. You may reschedule your consultation at no additional cost up to two (2) times. The consultation will be conducted either online or in person, depending on the method selected by the Client on the booking page. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
PLEASE NOTE: If additional time is required, additional fees may be applicable.
4. Acceptance: Please be advised that immigration laws, policies, and procedures are continually evolving and may change after the consultation takes place. As such, the advice provided by the Consultant is based solely on the information and documentation available at the time of the consultation. Any future changes in legislation, government policy, or the Client's personal circumstances may impact the relevance or accuracy of the guidance received. Clients are encouraged to stay informed of ongoing legal developments and seek updated advice as needed. While the Consultant is committed to delivering accurate and current information, the advice is limited to the scope of this review service and the details disclosed by the Client during the consultation.
By checking the box below to indicate your agreement to these terms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the terms and conditions outlined in this Initial Consultation Agreement. You further acknowledge that any ongoing or additional engagement of Cosmic Immigration Services will require a separate written agreement, which will outline different terms and conditions.
